In short
MA-Flats is currently developing 2 apartment sites of its own with 58 units in total, in Hanover and Dresden. We build them, furnish them and run them ourselves instead of passing on other people's apartments. What you can book today is the existing portfolio in the city concerned; the new units will be added on the dates given.
Why we build
Our own portfolio, not agency work
A listings portal has no reason to build: it earns from passing on enquiries and carries no risk on the property itself. We work the other way round. Every unit built here goes into our own portfolio, and we furnish it, clean it and let it ourselves. When you enquire, you speak with the operator of the apartment, not with a middleman.
The projects go up where we already know the demand from day-to-day business. In Dresden the semiconductor cluster in the north of the city has been drawing in outside contractors for years, and in Hanover it is the trade fair grounds, the plants and the logistics sites in the surrounding area. We already let apartments in both cities, and in both it gets tight at peak times.

How a site comes about
From the plot of land to the first occupancy

In preparation
We look at the location, the transport links and the demand: how far it is to the plants and job sites of the city, how a crew with a van gets there, and how many beds the site actually needs.

Under way
Construction and fit-out are running. In parallel we settle the layout: how many single and double rooms, how many complete apartments, and which units can be combined for a whole crew.

Now letting
The site goes into operation and becomes part of the bookable portfolio. Furnishing, cleaning, key handover and invoicing then run through us, just as they do everywhere else.
The dates given are planning figures from the construction phase. What is bookable in a city today is shown on the relevant city page. Just ask us and we will tell you straight away what is free.
