This website works without tracking: we do not use cookies, analytics or advertising tools, and we do not embed content from third-party servers. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server. We only process personal data if you contact us yourself: by phone, by email, via WhatsApp or through the contact form. This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS (TLS).

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser and stores it in so-called server log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of access
• Page or file accessed
• Amount of data transferred and access status
• Browser type and operating system (user agent)
• Previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted

This processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. The log files are not merged with other data sources. They are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for secure operation, usually after a few weeks. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with IONOS SE.

If you call us, write to us by email or contact us via WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (such as your name, phone number, email address and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at a rental agreement, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

For communication via WhatsApp, the following also applies: the provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. If you use the WhatsApp link on our website, your own WhatsApp application opens; WhatsApp's privacy notices apply in this respect. When using WhatsApp, data may also be transferred to servers of the Meta group of companies in the USA; the details are governed by WhatsApp's privacy notices. We recommend not sending sensitive data via WhatsApp; you can always reach us by phone or email instead.

For the contact form we use the transmission service Web3Forms (web3forms.com). When you submit the form, the data you have entered (name, email address, phone number and, optionally, work location, number of persons and your message) is forwarded to us by email via the Web3Forms servers. Web3Forms acts as a processor on our behalf; according to the provider, submissions are not stored permanently. Processing outside the EU or the EEA cannot be ruled out with this service. Where that is the case, we base the transfer on your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). For such countries there may be no adequacy decision by the EU Commission; there is then a risk that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU is not guaranteed and that data subject rights are more difficult to enforce. The processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give via the checkbox in the form, and on the handling of your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to info@maflats.de. Use of the form is voluntary; you can also send us any request by phone or email.

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary to handle your request. If a tenancy is concluded, we retain the associated documents within the statutory retention periods (in particular under commercial and tax law). After that, the data is deleted.

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data where that processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). If you object, we will no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
